Level 6 — Mastery (Artist / Educator Level)
To certify artistic authority, complete technical freedom, original creative voice, pedagogical understanding and conceptual mastery.
Practical syllabus (violin)
Performance and artistry
- A full recital performance of approximately 30–45 minutes
- Multi-genre and multi-style repertoire with original compositions
- Advanced improvisation and ensemble or accompaniment performance
- Demonstration of interpretative depth and personal artistry
Theory syllabus
Advanced studies and professional skills
- Advanced harmonic, formal and stylistic analysis
- Violin pedagogy and teaching methodology; curriculum design and learner progression
- Music aesthetics and philosophy
- Practice methodology, performance psychology and artistic planning
- Optional research project, dissertation or lecture–recital submission
